The most practical seem to be environmental and those citing human error. However, the most attractive to the public are supernatural explanations.

Bert has appeared in several films playing himself, including Night and the City, The Great White Hype and Rocky Balboa. He has been called Runyonesque (in reference to Damon Runyon) by Bob Costas, and "one of the foremost historians alive," by the Boston Globe newspaper. Bert Randolph Sugar is a writer sports historian who has written over 50 books, mostly about baseball and boxing. He was the owner and editor of of Boxing Illustrated magazine from 1969 until 1973, and the editor and publisher of The Ring magazine from 1979 to 1983. In 1998, he founded the magazine Bert Sugar's Fight Game. He has appeared as a commentator on HBO, ESPN and in numerous movies about boxing as himself. His most recent book, "Bert Sugar's Baseball Hall of Fame: A Living History of America's Greatest Game," was published in 2009.

Friday night on HVRNC,   Todd had a live investigation with,special guest, Paranormal Investigator, President of Ghost Research Society, Author, Dale Kaczmarek, and his team. They conduct a 4-5 hour live investigation there, on location, at the haunted,Robinson Bowling Center!  The listerners were pleasantly surprised That HVRNC's Own EVP Specialist and Co-Host of the Monday Meltdown, Phil Roell,  traveling all the way to Robinson to help Todd and Dale with the evening investigation. " We really enjoyed seeing Phil behind the Mic there in the studio, especially for an evening that was so eventful," says one of the long-time listeners,   'The investigation had so many shocking surprises for those of us that stayed up until after 4AM glued to the computer screen, watching spirit activity!"
